Overall in comparison to other Mexican restaurants that are within the same area in Detroit this restaurant was very good. I enjoyed the spicy salsa a lot. The chips were good but I wish they had been thinner. The rice and beans were some of the best I’ve had in comparison to other Mexican restaurants (who serve similar rice and beans). I had the quesadilla dinner (chicken) and it was good. I also ordered guacamole and I’ve had better. There was no seasoning in it. Service was good and the staff were very friendly. The menu is expansive.

This was my first time there and by far one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to. I had margaritas Mojarra frita with real rice, real tortillas and awesome chips and salsa. Of course coffee and tres leches. It's beautiful, feels like home and I can't wait to go back!

First time here. Food was delicious. Very authentic. Prices decent, little on the high side, but then, where are they not. Came out quick. No refills needed, drink glasses are jumbo. Great chips and salsa. Definitely coming again.

I've been to Mi Pueblo numerous times, and they never disappoint. The food is authentic, fresh, and delicious, the service is always impeccable, and the atmosphere is fun and beautiful. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some amazing Mexican food.

Was in Michigan (my home state) for a funeral and a visit, and the people we were with recommended this place. I am REALLY picky about Mexican food, because where I live in Florida, there are a LOT of GOOD, AUTHENTIC Mexican places. We were assured that we wouldn't be disappointed. Well,....WOW! It was AMAZING! From the start, we were given some VERY GOOD chips and salsa, and then we ordered our food...I honestly dont remember what it was called, but it was REALLY GOOD, and the portion size was ample and filling! The server was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere was really cool. I also liked the way the building looked inside! It was very inviting, and there was this WONDERFUL SMELL of all that was being cooked and served while we were there! I would say 10 our of 10 overall for the experience. We've been to Mexicantown in the past when we lived in Michigan, but this was the first time in a LONG time that I had ever eaten here! If I'm ever in the Detroit area again, and want Mexican, this will be my "go to" spot! I left very full and enjoyed the dining experience immensely! So Gracias por ustedes Muy Bueno y muy Sabroso Comida Mexicana!!!!

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend so we went here for my daughter's birthday. We were immediately seated upon entry by a friendly staff member. Our waitress was sweet. Two of my children ordered milkshakes, one vanilla and one strawberry. They commented on how amazing they were. My daughter said she had never tasted real vanilla in a vanilla milkshake before. My son ordered a virgin mocktail. He said it was good. We had chicharrones as an appetizer. I absolutely loved them. It was my first time having them. I had chicken tacos with flour tortillas. My oldest son had chicken and pork tacos with corn tortillas. My oldest daughter had Botanas with chicken. My youngest daughter had a California style chicken burrito and my youngest son had a chicken torta. We were all stuffed. All but my oldest son had food to take home. The atmosphere was very chill. I felt like I was at home eating. Very relaxed. I would certainly come again.

Once my boyfriend took me here for the first time, I was hooked. I’ve been over the years prior but it had been a while. I love the food!!! I have never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. I never ate the beans and rice anywhere until I had the them here. I can finish everything on my plate with no problem. I’ve never had anything undercooked or came out in correctly. I love the atmosphere and decorations that they put up for the holidays. The drinks are strong as well and always done correctly. I love how you pay for your bill as well. The only thing I have to say about this place is the driveway closer to the door. The dip going in is steep. You have to be careful going in. Sometimes, not all the time, I hate when people park in the middle of the driveway when they are running in to grab a carryout order. I wish there was a place for just carryout parking but they’re so busy that may take away parking from the people wanting to dine in. I hope this taqueria continues to thrive and expand even more.
